She was predeceased by: her husband Murray D. Blum; her parents, Morris Kaplan and Marion Goldstein Kaplan; her son-in-law Michael G. Coyne; and her nephew Stephen Kaplan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Eileen Coyne, Susan Connors and Scranton Mayor Jim Connors; her brother Earl; her sister-in-law Sue Kaplan of Florida; her grandchildren, Liz Connors Hemphill (Matt Hemphill), Zac Connors and David Connors; and her great grandchildren, Dr. Maggie Hemphill Maguire (Brian), Quinn Hemphill (Jake MacDonald), Tricia Hemphill, Aylah and Avery Connors. She is also survived by niece, a nephew., great nieces and great nephews.
