It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edmund F. Scacchitti (Scranton, Pennsylvania), born in Springfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 24, 2011, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Arnold Scacchitti; his siblings, Angelo Scacchitti and Sigfred Scacchitti of Mary Refice; and his nephew Arnold Scacchitti. He is survived by: his wife Ida Corazzi Scacchitti; his parent Mary Roscetti Scacchitti; and his children, Edmund J. (Barbara), James (Bernetta) and Linda Scacchitti Baker (David). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Little Sisters of the Poor, 2500 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.
