It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Connor of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 23, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Connor to pay them a last tribute.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Dorothy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dorothy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony "Tony" Connor Sr.; her siblings, James "Jim" Holman and Sally Rosser (Dick Rosser); and her sister-in-law Eileen Holman. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Connor Jr. (Georgina) and Sally McHugh (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Rebecca McCarthy (Marc), Laci, Claire and Anthony Connor III.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home (1240 St Ann St, Scranton, PA 18504). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Ann's Basilica (1250 St Ann St, Scranton, PA 18504).

I just saw her at her brother’s funeral and talked to her and she was so happy Sally that she was moving to Florida with you, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.
