With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dominick J. Scartelli Sr. of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 8, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Scartelli and Antoinette Galdieri Scartelli; his former wife Marlene; his sister Ann Iacobino; his nephew Joseph Roth Jr.; his brothers-in-law, Thomas Wiltshire and Joseph "Al" Roth, Sr.; and also, Mari and Sue.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Ann Marie Muto; his children, Debbie Best (Michael) of Dunmore, Ralph Scartelli (Jean) of Scranton, Dominick J. Scartelli, Jr. (Trish Beynon) of Scranton, Carl Scartelli of Jefferson Township and Donna Cadden (Jim) of Dunmore; his grandsons, Bobby and Michael Best; his children, Nicholas Scartelli (Bridget), Anthony Scartelli, Danielle Fata (Frank), Gianna, Louis Scartelli, Timothy, Matthew, MaryKate, Seamus and Jack Cadden; his great grandchildren, Aubrianna and Ralph Scartelli; his sisters, Vincentina Roth and Catherine Wiltshire of Scranton; and his brother-in-law Dominick Iacobino of Scranton. He is also survived by great nephew; two great nieces; as well as several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made in Dominick's name to the Basilica of St. Ann, 1233 St. Ann St. Scranton, PA 18504; or to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090.
