With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Simon of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 4, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Ann. He is survived by: his wife Joanna Cianci Simon; his children, Sharon Badick (John), Charles, Jr. (Kathleen) of Scranton and Michael (Lori) of Scranton; his grandchildren, Michael, Jr., Jacob, Gia, Geoni of Liam, C. J., Cerra, Kristen and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Riley, Harper, Layla and Savannah; his brother Joseph Simon (Teresa); his children-in-law, Colleen Simon, Robert Walsh of Scranton and Rob Badick of Scranton; his siblings-in-law, Lois Cianci and Joe Cianci (Joan); his grandson Robbie Walsh; his siblings, Evelyn, Claire, Minnie, Emily, Marie, William, Jr. and Anthony; his daughter-in-law Lisa May; and his brother-in-law Nick Cianci.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Joseph Melkite Church Building Fund, 130 St. Frances Cabrini Ave. Scranton, Pa 18504.
