He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Preston (Roger), Carey Needham (Marianne Siemietkowski) and Patrick Needham (Irene); his grandchildren, Joshua, Shane (Aliza), Brenna Etherton, Marie, John, Timothy Siemietkowski-Needham, Colleen and Sean Needham; and his great grandchild Oliver Kieran Etherton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
