He is survived by: his parents, Alphonse Scholtz and Christine Wheeler; his wife Carrie A. Mulea; his children, Sandra Scholtz, Stefanie Scholtz, Jake Scholtz, Jenna Scholtz, Joshua Mulea, Kali Sexton (Bailey) and Katie Scholtz; his siblings, Sherry Dougherty (Marco) of Scranton and John Wheeler; his grandmother Edith Slagus of Scranton; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Julien, Tommy and Carter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and mother-In-law.
