He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Ross and Frances Manganaro Giarratano; and his siblings-in-law, Charles and Suzanne Giarratano. He is survived by: his wife Carmella Giarratano; his son Allan; his nieces, Frances Giarratano, Susan Groom (William) and Charlene Giarratano (Corey Psolka); and his nephew Ross Giarratano (Staci). He is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that contributions in Al's memory be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to the SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 E. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
