He was predeceased by: his father Albert H. Garren. He is survived by: his grandsons, Greyson and Landon; his mother Sharon Havey (Jim); and his siblings, Suzanne Fedor (Chris), Natalie Wirth (James), Tracy Capalongo (Mark), Nevin Neff and Jordan Garren (Tara). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
