It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William E. Sterrett Sr. of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McKinley and Bessie Sterrett (Felgar); and his siblings, Mary Ella McConnell, Emma Jean Sterrett, Ivelyn Myers and Roy Sterrett.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly H. Sterrett (Hodgkiss); his children, Sherri Stern (Andrew) and William E. Sterrett Jr.; his grandchildren, Aaron Stern (Teresa) of Seattle, WA and Lauren Schmidt (Nate) of Mesa, AZ; and his great grandchildren, Eva and Lincoln. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home (105 Spring St, Scottdale, PA 15683). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 7:30 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
