He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Eckman and Dora Cramer Eckman; his wife Sarah Louise Eckman (Hendricks); and his siblings, Edward Eckman and Louise Livingood.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Eckman (Jane) of Port Orange, FL, Janis Pajak of Scottdale and Bonnie Avolio (David) of Myrtle Beach, SC.; and his grandchildren, Jason, Justin Eckman, Matthew Halfhill, Jeffrey Bedont, Joshua Pajak and Meggie Shoemaker (Pajak).
