He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edmond and Helen Louise Ayres (Hill); and his brother James Ayres. He is survived by: his wife Lola Ann Ayres (Cain); his daughters, Pam Ayres-McCue (Kevin) of Jacksonville, Sheila Myers (Rich) of Greensburg and Margaret "Maggie" Domasky of Scottdale; his grandchildren, Madysen, Gabriel Myers, Sarah, Perry, Rebekah, Henry and Joey Domasky; and his sisters, Stisha Minshew (David) of Zanesville and Amy Crouch (Gary) of Oak Hill, W. V. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
