He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Shallenberger and Pauline Fullem Shallenberger; his wife Dorothy J. "Dot" Shallenburger; and his siblings, Chuck, Benny, Chris, Bob, Ted Shallenberger, Fern Murray, Mary Clem and Dorothy Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, John R. "Bob" Shallenberger, Jr. (Fran) of Clear Brook, VA and Pamela J. Eutsey (John) of Scottdale; his grandchildren, Christie Patton (James), Brian Shallenberger (Gaby), Amy Baker (Christopher) and John Eutsey (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Faith, Jez Patton, Isabella, Alexa, Emily Shallenberger, Gretchan, Colton Baker, John and Dorothy Eutsey; and his siblings, Samuel Shallenberger of Connellsville, Blanche Mardis of Connellsville, Alberta Aberegg of Maine, Bette Fisher of South Connellsville and Paula Porterfied (Ed) of South Connellsville.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Pennsville Baptist Church or to the Connellsville COmmunity Ministries in memory of John R, Shallenberger.
