George Phillips Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Phillips (Scottdale, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 24, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas M. Phillips and Mary Phillips (Chuey); his daughter Beverly; and his siblings, Mary Kalp, James Phillips and Michael Phillips.
He is survived by: his significant other Parish of Saint John; his wife Frances B. Phillips (Mattingly); his daughters, Michelle Cannillo (Fred, Claudia Guldenschuh) and Deborah Brownfield (Chuck); his grandchildren, Bryan Quinn (Robin), Kelli Leonard (Chuck), Jeffrey Bell, Chuck Brownfield (Tamara) and Mark Brownfield (Lorelei); his great grandchildren, Tyler Leonard (Jennafer), Alex Leonard, Rebecca Wingrove (Matt), Jacob Quinn (Ashlee), Kaylee Bell, Olivia, Max and Nate Brownfield; his great great grandchildren, Nash Quinn and Elliana Wingrove; and his siblings, Elizabeth Ross and Thomas Phillips. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember George in a special way may direct gifts to the Scottdale Volunteer Fire Department in his name.
