It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern R. (King) Hixson of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade King and Edith King (Miller); her husband Jack M. Hixson; and her siblings, Merle King, June Batchhelder, Erna Snyder and Zane King.
She is survived by: her daughter Cleda Delgross (Lewis); her grandsons, Drew Delgross (Michele) and Kurt Delgross; and her great grandchildren, Tony, Garrett, Vince, Savannah, Jordan and Dylan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
