It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern M. Murray of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Shallenberger and Pauline Shallenberger (Fullem); her husband Charles "Mike" Murray; and her siblings, Benny, Chuck, Chris, Bob, Gerry, Dorothy and Ted.
She is survived by: her children, Charles "Mike" Murray Jr. (Frances) of Wilmington, Karen Marie Forsyth (Matt Pavlovich) of Fox Chapel and Gerald "Jan" Murray (Laurie) of Wilmington, Del.; her grandchildren, Charles "Mike" Murray III, Bethany Hauch, Caitlin McCarthy, Jennifer Heinz, Meghan and Benjamin Murray; her great grandchildren, Julia, Michelle, Josie, Joshua, Maisie and Riker; and her siblings, John Shallenberger of Scottdale, Samuel Shallenberger of Connellsville, Blanche Mardis of Connellsville, Alberta Aberegg of Maine, Betty Fisher of Connellsville and Paula Porterfield (Ed) of Connellsville.
