Sherry L. Finnerty Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sherry L. Finnerty of Scott Township, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael J Finnerty; her children, Kelli A Finnerty, Michael J Finnerty Jr. (Rebecca) and Lynne L Finnerty (Steven Derr); her siblings, John Skonier (Meg Skonier) and Louise Skonier (Andy Stump); her grandchildren, Alyson, Emma, Connor, Owen, Claire and Clayton; her great grandchild Reign; and her parents, John Skonier and Frances Skonier.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William Slater II Funeral Service (1650 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the S. S. Simon & Jude Church (1607 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220). A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (100 Resurrection Rd, Coraopolis, PA 15108).
