The memory of Helen M. Bongiorni of Scott Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 101, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Mauti and Catherine Mauti; her husband Frank J. Bongiorni; her son Gary; and her siblings, Victor Mauti (Dorothy), Palmera and Dolores.
She is survived by: her sons, David Bongiorni (Linda) and Dennis (Mary); her grandchildren, Christopher Bongiorni (Tami), Jaime Catalogna (Richard), Michele Orellana (Jason), Andrea Swift (Adam), Peter Bongiorni and Gary Bongiorni Jr.; and her sisters, Edith Miorelli (late Arthur) and Clara Calabrese (late Louis). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home (3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (310 Kane Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15243).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
