It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erwin Schmitt of Scott Township, Pennsylvania, born in Franklin, New York, who passed away on May 11, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schmitt and Florence Caswell Schmitt; and his siblings, Charlotte Campbell and Eugene Schmitt. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Kozlosky Schmitt; his children, Debora Duchnik, Scott Twp and Irene Thomas (Bob); his grandchildren, Travis Oakes, Summer Oakes, Misty Kosak (Walter), David Thomas (Patrice) and Mary Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Liam Contreras, Evelyn Thomas, Lillian Thomas, Gabriel Thomas, Abigail Kosak and Willow Kosak. He is also survived by two sisters.
