She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert J. Phares and Beulah M. Phares (Johnson); and her siblings, Dale Phares, Jerry Phares (Charlotte), Ronald Phares, Betty Kocher (Luther) and Grace Cmeich (Johnny).
She is survived by: her children, Edward E. Lanning (Colleen) and Autumn Blackburn; her grandchildren, Gavin Blackburn (Alexa Smith), Clint (Vonda Lanning) and Laura (Kevin Harrington); her great grandchildren, Layne, Keith and James Lanning; her sister Sharon Kozminski (Leonard); and her sister-in-law Dora Phares.
