He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Miles and Harriet Lucile Williams Miles; and his siblings, Pierson, Allan Miles, Nancy Young, Esther Powell and Hilda Grimes.
He is survived by: his wife Leila White; and his children, Ronald Miles (Connie), Marilyn Stracham (William) and Susan Miller (Scott). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
