She was predeceased by: her husband Edward W Sturges, Jr.; her parents, Dora Finkbeiner and Wesley A. Finkbeiner; her adoptive mother Mary Wright; and her daughter Karen Morante.

She is survived by: her child Arlen Haag-Snyder; and her grandchildren, Nathan E. Haag and Giancarlo Morante.
