He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth L. Starner and Helen Starner (Little); his daughter Kelly Starner; and his siblings, Edwin Starner, Kenneth Lowell Starner and Bette Ann Johns.
He is survived by: his wife Judy (Ryan); his sons, Nicholas Starner (Brandee) of Scotrun and Matthew Starner of Scotrun; his grandsons, Brandon and Jacob Starner; and his sister Jane Niering (Harry) of Paradise Valley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
