He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Jones and Mona Cook Jones; his wife Sherryl S. Jones; his daughter Marilyn Marie Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Gil Miller, Wally and Marion Michaels McGehee.
He is survived by: his son Matthew J. Jones of Scotland; his granddaughter Ella Marilyn Jones; his sister Linda Darland (Michael) of San Antonio, TX; his sister-in-law Linda Miller; his close friend Brenda Edwards; and his pets, Lewis and Lacey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
