She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Nysetvold and Mina Nysetvold (Aasgaard); her former husband Phillip O. Myrold; her daughter Kathryn Louise (Myrold); her husband Lloyd K. Burkholder; her stepson Daniel Burkholder; her stepgrandson Darrell Burkholder; and her siblings, Miles Nysetvold (Myrtle), Orwin Nysetvold (Ida), Paul Nysetvold (Betty), Arnt Nysetvold (Verna), Gladys Heiberg (Andy) and Iona Kvenvolden (Kermit).
She is survived by: her daughters, Kari Schwinghammer (Loren) and Kirsten Cruikshank (Dan); her grandchildren, Abigail, Lauren (Chekwas Isaiah), Kyja, Madeleine (David Catsinas), Owen, Rosalie and Reed; and her sisters, Loanna Wagstrom, Judith Pfaff and Dorothy Hammer (Robert).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in honor of Enid Burkholder for the Kathryn Louise (Myrold) Omdahl Memorial Nursing Scholarship at the Thief River Falls Education Foundation.
