We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2019, at the age of 88, Lyle C. Smith (Sciota, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Smith and Marie Scharm Smith. He is survived by: his former wife Helen Hall Smith; his stepmother Sylvia Ross Smith; his stepson James Adams, Jr.; his siblings, Evelyn Smith, Merl and Sydney Smith; his stepgrandson Jesse Martin; his wife Evelyn J. Burkett Adams Smith; his sons, Lyle Smith Jr (Kathy) of Troutville, VA. and Glenn Smith (Malissa) of Columbus; his stepdaughters, Peggy Hoogstad (David) of Linesville and Julie Hittie (Ben) of Williamsport; his sister Sandy Smith of Corry; his half-sister June Ann Crosby (Terry Crosby) of Union City; his sisters-in-law, Helen Smith of Corry and Martha "Sis" Whiteley (Bert) of Wrightsville; his half-brother Richard Smith of Corry; his brother-in-law Blaine Burkett Jr (MaryLou) of Corry; his grandchildren, Lyle Smith III, Lorraine, Rene, Travis and Stephanie; his stepgrandchildren, Shane, Jamie, Sadie, Jordyn, Grace and Aaron; his great great grandchild Vincent Puntel; and his nephew Andy Whiteley. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
