With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Valerie Lynn Ackerman (Schwenksville, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2024. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gary Ackerman; her daughters, Maggie Rose, Lena Grace and Carly Drew; her parents, Dennis Boris and Karen Boris (Zick); her sisters, Amanda Brown (Rob), Leah Cave (Wes) and Emily Boris (Jeff Barringer); her nieces and nephews, Ella, Laney, Robbie, James, Anna, Maya, Reid and Kevin; her in-laws, Elaine and William Bordow; her sisters-in-law, Jill Shultz (Steve) and Leah Bordow; her grandparents, Anthony, Anne Zick, Joseph and Luella Boris; and her father-in-law Charles Ackerman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Teresa of Calcutta (256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473).
