It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Peterka-Carey (Schwenksville, Pennsylvania), born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester J. Peterka and Frances S. Peterka (Korizno); her nephew Brett Auman; her great-nephew Dennis Auman; and her sister-in-law Nancy Federer.

She is survived by: her husband Miles Carey; her siblings, Frances M. Struckmann, Reverend Sy Peterka, Kenneth M. Peterka (Deborah), Agnes A. (Antonio Gentile), Mary Catherine (David Auman), Gerard J. Peterka (Sherrie), Joseph Peterka (Kim) and Keith Peterka (Barbara); her sisters-in-law, Meredith (Bob Ficiak), Virginia Carey and Deborah (Todd Gillian); and her close friend Kibble. She is also survived by 12 Nephews, 10 Nieces, 13 Grand Nephews, 10 Grand Nieces and 1 Great-Grand Nephew and 2 Great-Grand Nieces.
