He was predeceased by: his parent James R. Channer; and his brother Carroll Channer. He is survived by: his spouse Doris E. Channer (Schneider); his parent Margaret C. Channer (Petersen); his children, Harry W. Channer and Diana L. Channer; his grandchildren, Jennifer Ramey, James "Joe" Channer and Kimberly; and his great grandchildren, Micah, Ava, David, Titus, Wyatt, Emma and Beau.
