He was predeceased by: his parent William Capaldi; his son Robert M. Capaldi; and his siblings, William Jr. and Lucy Schickling. He is survived by: his spouse Louise Capaldi (Eschbach); his parent Mary Capaldi (Patrilak); his children, Laine Fountaine, Carla McWilliams, John G. Capaldi, Donna L. Soldano (Curtis) and Carrie Capaldi (George Pugnetti); and his daughter-in-law Kelly Capaldi. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
