He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Schaeffer (Pogash); his daughter Christine Schaeffer of Bethlehem; his granddaughters, Heidi O'Boyle and Destiny Silfies; and his siblings, Holly (late David Morgan) of Pine Grove, Lori (Eric Hartzel) of Newmanstown and Todd (Lucinda Schaeffer) of Tremont. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
