With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Catherine Smith of Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, born in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Hanshaw and Rose Hanshaw (Brighton); her husband Guy Edward Smith; and her sister Doris Phillips. She is survived by: her son Guy W. (Natalie Smith) of Friedensburg; her grandsons, Eric and Nicholas Smith; and her siblings, Mildred, James, Gary, Richard Hanshaw and Anna Hoffman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, & nephews.
