He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Maynard "Barney" Berger and Sue Berger (Matlock); his former wife Mary Anne Berger (Mull); his sister Suzanne LaScala; his brother-in-law Nick LaScala; and his stepdaughter Patti Vasura.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra K. Berger; his children, Debra Myers (Mike) and Rick "Choc" Berger (Sandi); his stepchildren, Douglas Burnhauser (Ellen), Craig Burnhauser (Heidi) and Kelly Ney (Alan); his grandchildren, Corie Mae Bell (Tommy), Kyle Myers (Kendra), Shane Berger, Calli Jean Berger, Haylee, Hanna Burnhauser, Michael Heintzleman (Wendy), Caleb, Cody, Madison Vasura, Justine Ney (Josh) and Donald (Michelle); and his great grandchildren, Gage Heintzleman, Otto Myers, Beau, Lottie-June Bell and Addy Roark.
