He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester E. Aungst, Sr. and Gertrude Aungst (Schaeffer); his sister Margaret "Dolly" Peiffer; his son Bruce Aungst; and his grandson Jacob Michael Aungst.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys I. Aungst (Nagle); his son Lester E. Aungst, III (Michelle, Schuylkill Haven); and his grandchildren, Nicole Guldin (Jason, St), Lester E. Aungst, IV, Joshua Aungst, Bill and Middleport. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and one nephew.
