With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leah H. Koons of Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, born in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 15, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Zettlemoyer and Cora Dewalt Becker Zettlemoyer; her husband William L. Koons; and her siblings, Charles, Phaon, Donald, Glenn Zettlemoyer, Harry, Milton Becker, Annie Luckenbill, Irene Peiffer, Janet Lazarchick and June Zimmerman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews.
