The passing of Joan E. Berkheiser of Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 18, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Reidler (Reightler) (Tobin) and Samuel Reightler; her husband Harold W. Berkheiser; and her siblings, Robert Reightler, Samuel "Mike" Reidler, Harold "Johnny" Reidler, Leslie Reightler and Janet Lengel.
She is survived by: her children, Harold R. Berkheiser (Janis) of Lebanon, Karen Berkheiser of Schuylkill Haven and Linda (Frank Honyara) of Schuylkill Haven; her grandchildren, Aaron Honyara, Evan Berkheiser (Christy) and Kaitlyn (Cody Miele); her great grandchildren, Olive Berkheiser and Dutch Miele; and her siblings, Claire Coleman and Charles Reidler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ (1185 Summer Hill Rd, Auburn, PA 17922). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
