He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hoover and Albenia Shandri Hoover; his son Scott Hoover; and his siblings, Joe, Gerald Hoover, Theresa Hertz and Dorothy Gessler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Joseph (Nick) and Jill Johns (Tedd); his grandchildren, Alana Schneck, Rachel Joseph, Vanessa, Lexi Johns, Melissa Reynolds, Dustin, Matthew and Adam Hoover; his great grandchildren, Cody, Cole, Lillian, Desirae, Isaac, Keegan and Ty; and his sisters, Irma Pothering and Ann Ege. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
