She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Claude Boyer and Helen Fegley Burkheiser Boyer; her half-siblings, Charles Boyer, Paul Burkheiser and Ruth Boyer Billman; her daughter-in-law Sandra Chapin Yeager; her great grandchild Melynda Alexis Lashley; her grandchildren, Samuel H. Yeager, Daniel A. Yeager (Jennifer) and Lisa S. Lashley (Dale); and her great grandchildren, Jordan Lashley, Skylar Yeager and Riley Yeager.
