She was predeceased by: her parent George Rushanan; and her brothers, Ronald Rushanan and George Rushanan. She is survived by: her parent Agnes Simikitus Rushanan; her son David G. Moyer; her granddaughter Amanda; her siblings, Elizabeth Kavanaugh, Branchdale Berns, Donna Berns and Robert Rushanan of Pottsville; and also Bear. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family requests donations in Georgene's memory to Hillside SPCA, P.O. Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901.
