He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar A. Meade, Sr. and Florence A. Meade (Morrison); and his sister Florence A. Meade. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley A. Meade (Bohler); his children, Deborah Meade and Edgar "Ted" Meade, III (Debra); his grandsons, David, Joshua and Matthew Meade; and his great grandchildren, Tiffany, Crystal, Bryan, Summer, Caleb, Lydia, Esther, Ruby, Hazel, Anna, Lilly and Danny.
