With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dolores A. Smedley of Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Dolores is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dolores' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mickshaw and Doris Mickshaw (Sweigert); her husband Harry Smedley; and her brother John Mickshaw. She is survived by: her children, Vicki (Thomas Haag) and Gerald Reichert; and her stepdaughter Shaun Madary. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
