She was predeceased by: her parents, William B. Shay and Juel Shay (Doyle); her husband Joseph J. Gasper, Sr.; her grandson Matthew Bann; and her siblings, Mary Joan Shay, William, Jack and Jim Shay.
She is survived by: her children, Denise J. Gasper of Schuylkill Haven and Joseph J. Gasper, Jr. (Lisa) of Cressona; and her grandchildren, Zachary and Emily Gasper. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
