He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses L. Hummel and Mada N. Hummel (Phillips); his wife Norma Jean Hummel (Plodis); and his siblings, Rev. Harold C. Hummel and Mildred Hummel.
He is survived by: his children, Joel Bruce Hummel (Nicole) of Hanover, PA and Judith Kay Devlin (Michael); his grandchildren, Brandon M. Devlin (Rebecca) and Meghan M. Heim (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Daniel Deatrich Devlin, Micah Joel Heim and Collin Deatrich Devlin; and his sisters-in-law, Roma Sailors of Germantown, TN and Carol Seltzer of University Park, FL. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
