He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann (Denbitsky) and GezaCzap; his former wife Kathryn Czap; his daughter Stacie Deutscher; and his stepson Christopher Durst.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Scott Czap of Indiana; his stepson Jason Durst (Michael Czap); his sister Annette Kilpatrick Harrisburg; his stepgranddaughter Emily Durst; and his close friend Barbara Heffner. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
