He is survived by: his wife Karen Yanek (Henninger); his children, John Yanek and Jessica Hoffman; and his siblings, David Yanek, George Messinger, Kathleen Smith and Kathy Polkinghorn. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
