He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman L. Roy and Dorothy W. Roy (Howe); and his nephews, Christopher Stavros and Norman Martel, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Roy (Moynihan); his daughters, Lisa M. Roy of Schnecksville and Michelle A. Roy of Schnecksville; his sister Lynn R. Girard (Denis) of Charlottesville, VA; and his nieces and nephews, Kristen Golomb, Denise Sun, Melissa Girouard, William Stavros, Derek Moynihan and Joseph Tutrone.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of the funeral home at P.O. Box #196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.
