She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis F. Newhard; and her parents, Raymond S. Ringer and Deborah V. Ringer (Meyer). She is survived by: her children, Donald C. Newhard (Karen) of Coplay, Dennis G. Newhard (Ruth) of St. Michaels, MD and Deborah J. Whitaker of Coplay; and her sister Arlene D. Remaley of Allentown. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter.
