He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara L. Hersh (Smith); his parents, John F. Hersh, Sr. and Elsie M. Hersh (Reith); and his brother John F. Hersh, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie L. Moyer (Danny) of Whitehall, Sharon L. Beck of Slatington, James R. Hersh, Jr. (Patricia) of Orefield, Amy S. Phillips of Philadelphia and Jessica A. Jackovitz (Raymond) of Slatington. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
