With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Shankweiler of Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 9, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Joyce E. Shankweiler (Schneck); his parents, Wilson J. Shankweiler and Ida C. Shankweiler (Newhard); his children, David W. Shankweiler (Sally) of Schnecksville, Mark S. Shankweiler (Tara) of New York City, NY, John H. Shankweiler (Morgan) of Swarthmore and Ann M. Marko (John) of Schnecksville; and his sisters, Margaret N. Plessl of Elizabethtown, KY and Lucille N. Simock (Ronald) of Neffs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Union Evangelical Lutheran Church Vision 20/20 and/or the Upper Lehigh Lions Club, Fund of H.O.P.E. both in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box # 196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.
