He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schaffer and Leah Schaffer (Rauch). He is survived by: his children, Ronald C. Schaffer and Sandra T. Gehman of Orefield; his sisters, Dorothy Hoffer of Slatington, Ruth Schmick of Slatington and Mae Tanczos of Slatington; his granddaughters, Kayleigh and Jesslyn; and his brother Ernest Schaffer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
